MediCom Lasers are produced in many variants and modifications. They are intended for Laser imprinting and marking. The basic distinctive attributes are listed below

Basic models are divided according to the source of laser radiation

  • Ytterbio Fibre Lasers (1064 nm)
  • Solid State Lasers Nd:YAG (1064 nm)
  • Solid State Lasers Nd:YVO4 (1064 nm, 532 nm)
  • Gas Lasers CO2(10600 nm)

The choice of a suitable laser type depends largely on the concrete application or the target sector of use.

Lasers differ in the type of construction and divide into three categories. The choice of the suitable laser type results from the means of laser use either as a stand alone machine or a device which is a part of a higher unit (line, machine, etc.).:

  • Stand Alone Workstations (e.g. LF20C, LV20C, LD50C) - design labelled as C (content of this chapter)
  • Independent Lasers (laser head and cabinet) intended for further integration by the user, system integrator, etc.(LF20S, LV20S, LM20S, LD50S) - design labelled S
  • Special custom-made device intended for a concrete application - usually uses the laser S design

All models are capable of configuration and modification acording to the given application and allow the connection of various accessories.
